Designed for success 

The SR-20HD is designed to ensure flawless live broadcasts, regardless of the operator's experience. It combines a mixer, an audio mixer, a preview screen, a player/recorder, and a streaming encoder, simplifying processes and reducing points of failure.

Plug and stream 

With two HDMI inputs, you can connect typical video sources such as cameras, smartphones, tablets, and computers with presentation software. A USB video input can be used with a Roland UVC device or a compatible webcam*. Numerous audio inputs are also available for microphones, music players, or electronic musical instruments.

Once everything is connected, simply connect to your router and start streaming live to your team members, customers, or students on Facebook Live, Twitch, or via RTMP to your CDN.

Adaptive Bitrate 

The SR-20HD's remarkable Adaptive Bitrate feature continuously monitors network connection quality and automatically adjusts the streaming bitrate to reduce interruptions due to bandwidth issues.

Using a smartphone 

A smartphone connected to a 4G or 5G network can be used as a primary or redundant streaming connection. If anything happens to your main wired connection, the SR-20HD will automatically switch to the smartphone connected via USB.

A beneficial delay 

With the SR-20HD, you can safely broadcast non-encrypted events and prevent inappropriate pirate content from appearing to your viewers. The Safety Delay feature buffers up to 60 seconds of sound and images, giving you time to display a still image or mute the audio if a problem occurs.

Dual broadcast destination 

Encode and broadcast live to two independent channels simultaneously on the same platform to reach a wider audience or create a backup for your archives or future broadcasts.

Panel Lock 

Panel Lock prevents users from accidentally changing settings that could alter the broadcast. You can block access to many physical controllers and menu settings, leaving only essential streaming functions accessible.

Simplified recording and playback 

The SR-20HD's built-in recorder allows you to store H.264 MP4* files on an SDXC card for later editing or uploading to YouTube or a corporate intranet. Additionally, the stereo audio stream in WAV format can be recorded independently for podcasts or other audio media. You can also access media stored on an SDXC card to add visuals to your presentations.

Advanced audio controllers 

The SR-20HD covers various audio needs of a presenter, a panel of speakers, or even musical performances. Inputs for four professional XLR microphones, line signals, or a headset microphone allow connection of many types of classic analog sources. You can also mix digital sound from HDMI and USB sources, as well as audio from videos and audio files stored on an SDXC card.

Quickly adjust the volume of each source using dedicated buttons and sliders, and then fine-tune the EQ and dynamic processing from the Preview screen and F1 to F4 encoders. Five assignable buttons to custom functions will speed up your work, providing quick access to Auto Mixing, audio/video playback, F1 to F4 functions, and more.

Automated switching and mixing 

Thanks to numerous powerful tools, you can automate video switching and audio mixing, simplifying your work. This is especially useful when you are also the presenter, as it allows you to focus on delivering your message to your audience.

It switches between different video sources on the screen at predetermined intervals, making your programs more dynamic.

Automatic mixing 

The Auto Mixing feature ensures that the balance between your different connected microphones remains ideal. You can prioritize certain inputs so that when a speaker talks, other audio sources are automatically lowered.

Source tracking 

The SR-20HD simplifies managing broadcasts with multiple presenters. Thanks to the Audio Follows Video function, the sound automatically follows its video source when it appears on screen. Conversely, the Video Follows Audio function switches the image based on who is speaking.

Scenes 

It's easy to give your programs a professional look with the SR-20HD's Scenes, capable of executing complex editing functions. You can set and store five different arrangements of sources and display them in resizable windows. Using dedicated Scene buttons, you can switch from one arrangement to another and captivate your audience throughout your broadcast.

High-resolution streaming 

The SR-20HD's Standard mode supports 1080p/30 FPS resolution, providing excellent quality for most live streaming applications. But if you're broadcasting a sports event or other fast-moving images, you can choose High Quality mode to increase the frame rate to 60 FPS and reduce motion blur.

UVC input extension

If you need to connect more sources, you can achieve this with a Roland UVC device. Many Roland audiovisual products are compatible, allowing you to send uncompressed video and audio to the SR-20HD's USB video input. Some USB webcams and other third-party devices with uncompressed UVC output can also be used.
