Input Scan randomly or sequentially switches input sources, while Preset Memory Scan transitions between preset memories. BPM (beats per minute) sync automatically switches Preview and Program at a specified tempo, ensuring tight synchronization with musical cues.

Record Triggering and Confirmation

Successful recording relies on various technical elements, with forgetting to hit the record button potentially impacting payment. V-8HD operators can trigger Atomos recorders to start and stop recording via HDMI. Some camcorders even display a recording confirmation icon on the input channel of the V-8HD's multiviewer screen, enabling monitoring of recording status while focusing on other critical tasks.
