AJA 3G-AMA 4-Channel Balanced Audio Embedder/Disembedder

The 3G-AMA is AJA's compact 3G-SDI audio embedder/disembedder, built to get analog audio in and out of an SDI signal without a full production switcher in the chain. Four channels of balanced analog audio, in and out, connect via a 25-pin D-connector with the included XLR breakout cable, and embedding is selectable on a channel-pair basis for exactly the routing a given setup needs.

It automatically detects and configures itself to the incoming video standard — SD through 1080p60 — and passes HDR metadata straight through, so it drops into an existing signal chain without extra setup. 24-bit audio conversion keeps embed and disembed latency low (around 1.1–1.2ms), which matters when the audio needs to stay tightly locked to picture.
